June Round-up

What a month June was!

Fathers Day this year was on Sunday the 15th of June, and we had a weekend jam-packed with celebrations and activities for the whole family. You can see more about that here: Father’s Day Takeover

On Wednesday 11 June at 3pm, we gathered outside the Scottish Parliament in support of the Dad Strike, a national protest calling for better, fairer paternity leave. Organised by The Dad Shift, the strike was to highlight the urgent need for substantial, affordable, and equal paternity policies, as current UK laws offer just two weeks’ leave paid below minimum wage. We were in the paper! The National

Did you see us on BBC TV? We were on The One Show! Showcasing the amazing work we do in Edinburgh, Glasgow, North Ayrshire and now Dundee! Take a peek: One Show We’re going to be on another show soon called ‘Will & Ralf should know better’ coming to your TV screens on UKTV and Dave.

Our lovely marketing student from Napier University, Meta, left us this month after her 6 month placement - huge thanks to her for all her hard work and our best wishes for her final year.

Not one but two awesome teams from Stantec came to help us spruce up our hall and toys at Gorgie - huge thanks to all fo them for giving their time and getting stuck in to cleaning and painting.

Here’s a round up of June’s photos (you’ll find the father’s day ones on the separate blog linked above):
