Children thrive when Dads thrive and that’s at the heart of everything we do. By offering free workshops, playgroups, and one to one support, we empower fathers to build confidence, strengthen resilience, and feel genuinely supported. When dads gain practical tools, whether it’s navigating new parenthood, finding creative ways to connect with their children, or simply sharing experiences over coffee, they’re not just improving their own wellbeing; they’re creating a more nurturing, stable environment for their kids. As fathers become more present, engaged, and resilient, children benefit from stronger bonds, more positive role models, and a brighter emotional foundation that sets them up for success throughout life.
Our community goes beyond typical parenting groups by celebrating the unique role of fathers and prioritising the whole family’s wellbeing. From casual catch-ups in the park to collaborative projects and family-focused events, Dads Rock fosters friendships that last and those friendships ripple into each family home. When dads feel less isolated and more equipped to handle everyday pressures, their children experience calmer routines, more consistent caregiving, and a confidence that comes from seeing their dad thrive. Together, we’re building a world where every child grows up surrounded by support and positivity, and the best possible version of their family.

We’re all about being awesome and Authentic. It’s not just about doing a good job; it’s about doing it with flair, passion, and a whole lot of creativity. For us, being awesome means bringing our best selves to every challenge, inspiring those around us, and never settling for mediocrity.

Empowering Dads to embrace their role in parenting is crucial in a world striving for fairness. Equity until equality remains essential, as Dads don’t always get the same shot at being fully involved with their children, thanks to outdated stereotypes. We want Dads to be equal when it comes to raising children and we hope that society will accept the vital role Dads play.

Dads Rock believes in being Inclusive and Family Centred. Families are where love, support, and all that good stuff should thrive. When we focus on family well-being, we’re setting the stage for changes that echo through generations, creating a place where everyone has a shot at thriving. We welcome ALL dads and male carers. Sustainability is at the heart of our commitment to creating lasting change by supporting parents, especially Dads who often feel excluded from traditional parenting services. Our goal is to increase their skills and confidence in their vital role within the family. We are determined to help families build resilience and disrupt the cycle of adversity and trauma. We know that Children have better outcomes in life when all parents are actively involved in their upbringing. Children thrive when Dads thrive.

We are part of the social change that needs to happen.
We attend conferences to talk about the importance of fathers, and to talk about the small steps organisations can take that will make a difference.
We feed into local and national policy on parenting.
We have contributed to national policy making, by being members of The Scottish Government's National Father's Advisory Board, as well as the Scottish Parliament Cross Party on Shared Parenting.
We need societal change for the sake of our children, but also for the sake of all our Dads, we want all of our Dads to feel supported and valued.
We are members of the following organisations: Poverty Alliance, EVOC, GCVS, SCVO, LAYC and Youth Scotland.

At Dads Rock we believe every parent and child has equal rights. We value and embrace Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all that we do for the people who need us, and the people who enable us to do our vital work.
We have always strived to reach every family who needs us. We are here, on an equal basis, for all families in whatever shape they come, across Scotland and beyond. We welcome ALL Dads/Male carers from families of all shapes and sizes, any nationality and including gay, trans and non-binary Dads at our groups and activities.
