Father’s Day Round Up 2025
At Dads Rock, Father’s Day is all about coming together to celebrate the role dads play in our lives and communities. From joyful gatherings to meaningful memories, here’s how we marked the occasion this year:
North Ayrshire -
Originally, we had planned an exciting adventure to the Isle of Arran, but the torrential rain had other ideas! Instead, our group took a trip to the Transport Museum, where we explored the fascinating exhibits and enjoyed a relaxed day indoors. It turned out to be a wonderful chance to bond, learn, and share stories surrounded by history and innovation.
Glasgow -
The weather didn’t dampen the spirits of our Glasgow families, who braved the rain for an outing to Calderglen Country Park and Zoo. Raincoats on and smiles wide, we enjoyed going out, seeing the animals and chatting with each other.
Dundee -
Unfortunately our Dundee Fire Station Trip had to be postponed because the firefighters were called out to a major incident. Keep your eyes on our social media for updates as we hope to reorganise this for another day 👀
Edinburgh -
Our Father’s Day Takeover and BBQ was a hit, and luckily we missed the rain. We spent the day enjoying games, eating great food and spending time with each other. Huge thanks to one of our Dads, James, who was able to get lots of food donated and helped with the BBQ; and to the Heart of Midlothian Lodge who also supplied lots of food and a team of volunteers who helped the event go so smoothly.
Thank you to all of the families who joined us, and of course a huge shout out to all of the Dads and male carers. Your presence, support, and involvement mean so much to your families and to our whole community. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, shared laughs, and precious moments being made. We appreciate everything you do and hope you enjoyed celebrating together!
