Volunteers’ Week 2026: Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers

We just celebrated Volunteer’s Week, a chance to recognise and thank the incredible people who give their time, energy and skills to support Dads Rock and the families we work with across Scotland💛

Our volunteers play a huge role in helping us create welcoming, supportive and inclusive spaces for dads and children. Whether they’re supporting groups and events, helping behind the scenes (massive shout out to our awesome Trustees), fundraising, offering peer support or simply being there to lend a hand, their contribution makes a real difference every single day.

Volunteering is at the heart of many communities, and Dads Rock is no exception. Our volunteers help dads build friendships, reduce isolation, grow in confidence and access support when they need it most. Their kindness, commitment and enthusiasm help make our groups and services the welcoming spaces they are.

Over the past year, we’ve been lucky to work alongside so many fantastic volunteers, each bringing their own experiences, talents and perspectives to the organisation. We are incredibly grateful for the time they dedicate to helping us support dads, children and families throughout Scotland.

Volunteers also help us reach more families, deliver more opportunities and continue growing the services we provide. Simply put, we couldn’t do what we do without them.

To every volunteer who has supported Dads Rock, whether regularly or occasionally, thank you. Your time and dedication help strengthen families, build communities and make a lasting impact on the lives of the people we support❤️
