Groups
Hair workshop in Glasgow!
As it’s December we’ll be holding some awesome Christmas Parties at our group and they’ll be the last sessions of the year so it’s worth checking the calendar to see what’s going on.
North Ayrshire: In Irvine we have weekly groups for Dads and their children on Sundays at 10.30am and the Three Towns Dads Group is on Wednesdays at 6.30pm.
🎄🎅 Last Sunday group with a Christmas Party is 7th December and Wednesday 10th is a Dads Night out. Contact ryan@dadsrock.org.uk if you’d like to go to the Christmas party - dads night out link below!
Glasgow: In Maryhill we have a playgroup on every Saturday at 10am. Last group for 2025 will be on 13th December.
Edinburgh: In Gorgie we run playgroups every Saturday and Sunday at 10am. On Tuesday evening at 7pm is our Dads and Dice group - a games night for Dads with or without their babies.
🎄🎅 Last Saturday group is 6th December and Sunday group with a Christmas Party is 14th December and Tuesday 9th is the last Dads and Dice. Contact greg@dadsrock.org.uk if you’d like to go to the Christmas Party!
Dundee: Saturdays the Boomerang Centre 10am. Last group for 2025 will be on 13th December.

As always we’ll be supporting Young Dads in Edinburgh and Glasgow, New Dads through our PS service and families in Tayside and North Ayrshire.
November Round-up
November kicked off with our AGM and we were delighted to welcome some Dads along as well as our trustees and supporters. We were able to share our impact video and if you haven’t had a chance to watch it already we’re happy to share it with you here 👆
We’re so proud of our Dads Worker, Ryan, who was nominated for an award by one of the amazing families he supports. 🙌 They both came across to Edinburgh (with thanks to everyone who helped make that happen) and celebrated this outstanding recognition.
We also got involved with the Dad Shift once again - this time for a debate in parliament for International Men’s Day. Thank you to Edinburgh MP Scott Arthur spoke about our work and you can see that on Facebook, Instagram or Linked In.
We’ve had lots of groups running throughout November and plenty of workshops too including a special workshop led by medical students at Edinburgh university to recognise sickness in children and know what to do about it - their hand out is here: HealthyKids
And finally, thank you to our friends at JS Group who came along to Gorgie Mem and did a deep clean of the kitchen, washed lots of our toys and did some gardening - making it much more welcoming for our Edinburgh groups 🙌
